“Kurekss Ltd.” was established in 1995 as a private limited company. The company’s sawmilling operation is located in western part of Latvia near the ice free port Ventspils and is surrounded by the largest forest area of Latvia.

“Kurekss” supports the maintenance of the natural environment and therefore has been certified for “chain of custody” in accordance with the principles and criteria of FSC.

“Kurekss” has registered with the European Standard ISO 9001:2000. The company’s philosophy is to focus on customer’s needs and to create partnership in business.
